Berlin, September 1, 2009 - DRAGO Messtechnik, manufacturer and supplier of high quality signal converters, is presenting a trade fair novelty relevant to the key topic of "Industrial Identification" at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES from 24th to 26th November, 2009. The "Webinfo 4 Easy" Internet tool uses manufacturers own device barcodes for accessing device data, enabling the user to access data for the maintenance, planning and purchase of signal converters faster and more easily.

The company is presenting the "Webinfo 4 Easy" services web portal for users from design engineering, development and purchasing for the first time. This trade fair novelty uses the existing device barcodes of the company’s own signal converters and isolation amplifiers, enabling the customer to work faster and more efficiently by means of a simple scan. The principle by which it works is simple and reliable: All transducers and catalogue information have a barcode. Using a simple barcode scanner design engineers, developers and purchasers can access the specific data belonging to the relevant transducers in use directly on the screen via a standard web browser. It is no longer necessary to spend hours leafing through catalogues searching through all relevant device information and then use the wrong or outdated data; maintenance and installation work, planning and purchasing processes are speeded up.
